Hello! My name is Fatima Hussain and I am an Occupational Therapist  and the Owner of Sahaara Therapy Services. I am extremely passionate about all things OT and believe in empowering and supporting individuals to meet their goals and engage in those activities that are most meaningful to them!

I completed both my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. After getting married, I moved to Calgary, Alberta.

My husband and I currently live in a beautiful town west of the city of Calgary (Cochrane, Alberta). We love being outdoors, going for hikes and staying active. I make up for all this by baking all the treats and spending time spoiling my nieces and nephews. I also love to do puzzles, read and travel as much as possible (here’s hoping we can do so safely very soon)!

My expertise are in feeding and swallowing, seating and positioning, fine motor skills, sensory regulation and upper extremity rehabilitation. I am so excited to see how I can support you and help you to meet your goals! 🙂
