Hi! My name is Fatima Hussain, and I am an Occupational Therapist and the proud owner of Sahaara Therapy Services. I’m passionate about all things OT and believe in empowering individuals to reach their goals and engage in the activities that bring the most meaning to their lives.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and my Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. After getting married, I moved to Calgary, and my husband and I now live in the beautiful town of Cochrane, just west of the city.

Life outside of work is full and fun—I’m a mom to a lively 2.5-year-old and have another little one on the way! We love spending time outdoors, going on hikes, and staying active. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, getting lost in a good book, baking, and dreaming up our next travel adventure.

My areas of expertise include feeding and swallowing, seating and positioning, fine motor development, sensory regulation, and upper extremity rehabilitation. I would love the opportunity to support you or your loved one and help make meaningful goals a reality.
